Not a stitch of heartburn...

Uh oh.  I just had a thought.  I (thank heavens) have not experienced heartburn AT ALL during my pregnancy.  And while I'm thankful to have avoided at least one "blissful" side effect during this crazy journey I can't help but wonder...

Is Henry going to be a bald baby?

Now for those of you haven't spent the last six months of your life being bombarded by pregnancy wives's tales...the word on the street regarding heartburn is that if you experience lots of it, that your baby is bound to have a full head of hair as it makes its debut into the world.

Ok you mommy readers out there...help me out.  Let me know your history...if you have had experience with birthing "heartburn babies" that were STILL bald, OR if you bypassed heartburn but still managed to produce a baby with a decent set of locks out of the womb...I want to hear about it!

Help a wondering Momma out!

Happy heartburn-less Monday!

xoxo,

Mama Perks

Not a bit of heartburn with my first one. She'll be three in July and still hasn't had a haircut...and doesn't need one. I'm considering developing a line of Baby Rogaine.

Linds - I had minor heartburn with both my viable pregnancies. The heartburn was contained to the first trimester and anytime I overdid the garlic. :) Totally treatable by Tums. Both my kids were born with hair, so that old wives' tale did nothing for me.

Hey Lindsey! I had heartburn CONSTANTLY with Emily and though she wasn't bald, she certainly did not have the hair I was expecting. So, I'm going to say that old wives' tale is a myth!
